Hows tour going?/ How'd it go?
Tour was a lot of fun. It was my 4th time being out on the road. Honored to be a part of the Odd Squadsl Family's first tour for sure. Came back motivated for whatever is next
What is/what was your favorite tour spot so far?
Tough call between the 1st n last stop. Glendale, Arizona was a great start. I know a few ppl out there from my previous tours so it's always good seeing familiar faces and the kick off energy was on point. Bozeman, Montana was our grand finale and the love they gave us was amazing. Everyone was hype and I got so many props after my set, it was exhilarating.
What inspired you to start rapping?
Life lol. But in all seriousness. Eminem, the Eminem Show. 1st rap album I owned. Would listen n read along with the lyrics for hrs n thought... "I wanna rap". This wordplay, structure, the passion. I felt drawn towards it. Felt I could do that. I'ma do that
Pros and cons of getting out of your home town?
Pros? It's different. At home u know who/what your around. It's comfortable. Ppl who know you/ have heard of u think they know u so treat u as such.
But outside of home? They wanna know u. They wanna interact. They wanna know what you're about.
U get to change scenery. Meet these ppl n when u connect u know u can come back n it's love. It's not always like that at home.
It's an experience
Cons? It's uncomfortable. Scary at times. Ur somewhere u don't know around strangers who may or may not have ill intent. N there's always a "what if" factor. What if they don't rock with me here? What if I can't connect with anyone? It's a risk
But it's worth it when it works
What would you say to upcoming artists?
Don't focus on perfection. Enjoy what u create in the moment. Touch it up but don't spend too much time on making things "perfect". It'll stress u out n that kills motivation. Release n move on n with that-
Stay consistent. Consistency builds foundation.
Network. Don't be afraid to talk to ppl or ask questions.
Whats your biggest accomplishments so far?
As of now, my recent tour. Being able to have my name/sound next to artists with millions of views n a growing fanbase is a sign I'm heading in the right direction. I'm thankful for that. It shows I'm accomplishing something to have made it this far.
Where do you see your in the next 10 years?
Running my own thing. A label. Idk how far I'll make it as an artist but to still be a part of music, even behind the scenes n take what I've learned and build a life around that would be the goal.
